I learned my lesson the hard way never to buy a video gaming system and games from Walmart. I took my Christmas money and bought an XBox 360 and four games that were almost $60 each from Walmart. I got the system home and it really sucked. The graphics were bad, the typefaces were unreadable even on my 52" Plasma TV, so I went to return the system and games (three of them unpoened) for a refund.  I was shcocked when I went to return that they would take back the XBox at a refund but not the games !!!

That's over $200 worth of games that I was stuck with, with no system to play them on. The rude sales associate told me I should go sell them at the the videogame store across the street. I went there and they offered me $12 for each game (even the unpoened ones) !!! These were $50-$60 brand new sports titles and three unopened.

I don't see what the big problem is. A videogam costs about $2 to manufacture, so does a DVD, so why are consumers ripped off like this by big companies like Walmart.

I will never shop Walmart again.

This doesn't seem right. Have you contacted Walmart coporate? I would give them a call and I would hope that they would remedy the situation. I wouldn't think WalMart or any large retailer would want an irate customer especially with the power of word of mouth on social media sites. As a consumer, you have the upper hand. Big corporations are willing to please one customer rather than them spreading bad words about them. Call corporate and keep calling them until you get justice. Good luck.

It makes no sense that they wouldn't accept the unopened games but I can understand why they wouldn't accept return on opened games.

No matter what, piracy is going to be what it's going to be.

Seems most of the posters here underestimate the craftiness of thieves.
