eBay manipulating their web traffic data

eBay has for a long time now been knowingly manipulating their traffic data to make it look as if more people are using the site than really are.
Here's how they do it :
1.) Ever notice it takes more than three clicks to get to the listing page when selling an item ? You click on the "sell" link and it takes you to a intermediary page that asks you again to click to sell. Think of the millions of listings eBay has going into the system each week and right there is millions of fake "hits".
2.) How many times per day are you asked to "re-login" to your "My eBay" page? Oh yeah, that little glitch can easily account for millions of more hits for eBay each day.
3.) The new "Best Match" search accounts for a tremendous explosion of hit when people searching eBay need to set their preferences to get out of the atrocious search.
With all the lying, cheating, paded traffic stats, padded bottom line, it's a wonder the government hasn't stepped in and fined eBay/Paypal for the unethical business practices they are doing.

I agree with the Best Match search making me click 2-3 times extra to find what I'm looking for.
Also one more way eBay is making extra traffic is by making sellers search to see where their own items are coming up.

I get sick of being redirected to the "Sell Your Item" page every time I click on the Sell tab at the top of myebay. What is the purpose of getting that screen??? Now I know.

the green search button hasn't been working for days. every thread people start about it on the ebay forums gets nuked.
nice way to get some extra traffic. make people go back or refresh to search then send them to the forum to complain.
damn ebay :-(
