This complaint is regarding Ron Johnson, owner of Makeitorbreakit.com, who operates his business from his home in Las Vegas. He and his employees spend the majority of their 10 to 12-hour work day sending spam to hundreds of people on myspace, youtube, craigslist, etc. promising them a career in the music industry for a small fee starting at $500 for the least expensive starter package. If someone responds, they extract as much personal information from that person leaving them with very little information about the company. They will request personal contact information such as your email, home address, and phone numbers. Be careful disclosing your personal information as this company will send you lots of spam and will constantly make telemarketing calls to your phone, even if you express disinterest in their offers. The owner/ main producer, Ron Johnson, made me beats that came out sounding generic and homemade. My cd's were produced 2 weeks after I was promised them and I didn't get any media exposure for the $1,000 package I ordered with this company. It all sounds great, but trust me, you can do what they do at home for free, if you have a computer, music software, a mic, and internet. Not to mention, Ron Johnson seems to have "issues"- I'm not trying to speak badly of him, but he is slightly odd and extremely verbally abusive to his staff and some clients. If you're interested in doing business with makeitorbreakit, I would strongly recommend thoroughly investigating the company before handing over your cash. I'm sure you will feel the same once you see the real thing behind all the fancy advertising and false promises that this company will get you "seen and heard" by the world.

That's a real shame. I did a Google search on this company and I noticed a fair share of negative publicity and similar complaints to yours.
